While regulations vary globally, consumers are increasingly seeking out alternatives made from safer materials.

In the face of these challenges, the industry is innovating towards more sustainable solutions. Manufacturers are exploring alternative materials such as algae-based plastics, mushroom packaging, and other biodegradable compounds. Additionally, efforts are being made to improve recycling rates and develop circular economy models where waste is repurposed into new products.
